As a result of the City of Geneva's commitment to more equal gender representation in public spaces, Place Charles-Sturm was renamed Place Beatriz-Consuelo in June 2024. This change honours an important prima ballerina and teacher who passed on her passion to numerous generations of dancers through the Junior Ballet she founded.

The annual Danse Suisse Talentscouting Days, held once again at the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK), hosted around 270 talented young dancers. Due to the high demand, this year's event was extended to five days.
