Dance & Education

For many years, Danse Suisse has had a special focus on education and training. Unlike in the other arts, where recognised diplomas and professional qualifications have existed for decades in some cases, these have first had to be created for the dance profession in Switzerland in recent years. For this reason, we initiate education programmes and actively accompany the development of recognised diplomas at various levels. And finally: not only professional training itself, but already the → promotion of young talent occupies an important place at Danse Suisse. Particularly in dance, solid preparation for professional training and a dance career is of great importance. Targeted support, usually from an early age, forms the basic prerequisite for further steps into a professional career.
