LET'S BLOOM DANCE! The 20th anniversary of Danse Suisse in figures. The 20th anniversary celebration of Danse Suisse took place on June 9th at the Cinématte in Bern amidst a cheerful and nostalgic atmosphere.
Highlights of the celebration included interviews with individuals who have had a significant influence on the professional association over the last 20 years. Oliver Dähler, the first president of Danse Suisse, and board member Daniell' Ficola opened the event with exciting stories from the past. Between the talks, nostalgic photo interludes from the last 20 years provided many discussion points. Christoph Reichenau (former president) and board member Emanuel Rosenberg talked about the challenges and potential for Danse Suisse, followed by a video interlude featuring a conversation with Marc Meyer (former president) and Kathleen McNurney. Personal anecdotes and insights from the day-to-day business were revealed by Liliana Heldner Neil, long-standing Managing Director, in conversation with Michaela Bosshard. Following an excerpt from the interview with former Managing Director Gianni Malfer, Board members Jean-Marc Heim, who also celebrated his 20th anniversary on the Danse Suisse Board, and Jasmine Morand rounded off the success story of the last 20 years in a fitting tribute.
