ZHdK: Men in motion – call for entries

Men in dance – a topic that is no longer unusual, but still remarkable. While dance has historically often been seen as the domain of women, men have enriched and shaped the dance scene in many ways, both worldwide and in Switzerland.

In Switzerland, there are numerous inspiring examples of male dancers who are conquering the stages with their individual style and artistic passion. From classical ballet to contemporary choreography and urban dance styles: Men in dance are broadening perspectives and enriching the art form with their unique presence.

This development shows how important it is to promote up-and-coming talent – regardless of gender – and give them the opportunity to develop their skills.

The Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is the ideal platform for contemporary dance. The Bachelor's program in Contemporary Dance is looking for talented dancers who want to deepen their enthusiasm for the art through professional training.
