Make Your Move is a project sponsored by the city of Lugano. It began many years ago as a music festival. Over the years, the project has evolved into a dance and culture festival for a young audience, with two important Swiss competitions: Make Your Move Battle, the international Swiss hip-hop competition, and the presentation of schools of different styles, with students from all over the world performing on the same stage.

The meeting is lively and constantly in motion: for several years, numerous co-operations between various Swiss dance schools and international artists have been initiated and hundreds of young people have been directly involved.

Over time, the freestyle and dance competitions have grown in importance, judged year after year by international juries and featuring dancers from the region, but also from northern Switzerland and beyond. Once again this year, the festival promises a wealth of events, various competitions, spaces for young people of different ages and children who will have the opportunity to take part in targeted activities and benefit from the creative “urban” environment.
