DANCE AND AUDIENCE: WORKSHOP
“How to click with a dance performance” with Dr. phil. Maren Witte. How does a dance performance draw each audience member in to connect in their own unique way? What sensory stimuli come together to create an aesthetic “click”? This question will be explored in the workshop which will take place from November 29th to December 1st.
→ Dr. phil. Maren Witte develops methodological approaches based on these considerations to create effective mediation formats for the audience. The workshop demonstrates how new approaches can be developed through the use of language and how these can be expanded through the incorporation of playful, movement-based, and scenic elements.
The workshop is aimed at dance professionals, dramaturgs, dance and theater educators, as well as academic teachers.
Students in these fields are also very welcome.
