August 24 – Geneva: Perfectionism and self-esteem

Dienstag 18.03.25
From: Laura Jaeggi

In cooperation with RP Genève, will take place as part of “Dance and Psychology” with Isabelle Schramm.

The workshop examines perfectionism in dance, differentiates between healthy and harmful perfectionism and shows its influence on motivation and self-esteem. Participants reflect on their own behavior and learn techniques to promote a balanced attention to detail and to strengthen self-esteem.

This training can be combined with the offer from August 23, “Mental Health in Dance: Balancing On and Off”. The first part explains the role of the autonomic nervous system and the connection between mental and physical functioning. Through practical tools and moments of reflection, participants learn to find a healthy balance between tension and relaxation. Both days offer interactive discussions and practical strategies for healthier and more sustainable dancing.

This training is organized by RP Genève in cooperation with Danse Suisse. Danse Suisse members benefit from a reduced registration fee.
